This compact basic mounting system is a flexible alternative to the tripod and facilitates the installation of the mast and Yagi even on difficult surfaces.
It may be used, whether erecting the mast onto objects or on the ground (e.g., with optional ground stakes).
The 4 pre-assembled guy-lines are freely adjustable and may be varied in length between 3 and 9 meters. This enables adapting the mounting system to different ground conditions.
Once secured and stable, the mast may be easily aligned with the bubble spirit level (included with the mounting system), before installing the main guy-lines and Yagi on the mast.
The 4 guy-lines attach to a guy-plate with bushing, enabling the mast to be freely rotated.
Each pre-assembled guy-line consists of: 10m weatherproof coated 3mm steel cable, chain quick release fastener, thimble, stainless steel cable turnbuckle and stainless steel duplex cable clamps for connecting the guy plate and the ground (f.e. hooks/wall hooks/steel rings). The guy-line lengths can be easily adjusted from 3 to 9 meters using the 2 wing nuts on the outer duplex clamps. Fine adjustments and exact alignment of the mast is made by using the turn-buckles while watching the bubble spirit level directly on the guy-plate.
A bubble spirit level ist also included in this basic set.
