With my K3, 100w pep and the 200w Annecke Tuner, with no amplifier, a station heard is a station contacted. This is especially true by the long path where there are fewer hops with vertical polarization. Since last year, April 2016, when I have extended the vertical dipole, I added 89 confirmed countries from 20 to 10m. In addition, on 10m it has also some gain.
